General Questions

Fulfillment time is the time it takes to make your customer-ordered product. Out fulfillment time is calculated in business days, and it’s 2-5 business days for all printing and 4-10 for all other products.

That being said:

70% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than 40% of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or fewer.

Please also note:

  • Fulfillment time doesn’t include shipping. To get an idea of how long an order will take to reach its destination, combine the estimated fulfillment time with the estimated shipping time.
  • The fulfillment averages do not account for an order that might be put on hold.
  • Fulfillment for large orders may take longer on average, but it’ll still be fulfilled within 5-10 business days.
  • Our fulfillment times are an estimate, but not a guarantee.

Our estimated delivery time (EDT) is our delivery time prediction. We follow a simple equation to calculate EDT:

estimated fulfillment + estimated shipping = estimated delivery time

Our average order fulfillment takes 5-8 business days.

We consider the current order volume and our fulfillment capacity when calculating our estimated fulfillment time.

But the estimated delivery time is just an estimate not a guarantee.

Here are some of the reasons why an order might arrive past its EDT:

  • Issues with print or embroidery files
  • Products being out of stock
  • Shipping related delays like failed delivery attempts, service disruptions, or harsh weather conditions.
  • Product coming from Canada or overseas

Nonetheless, we work hard to meet our delivery estimates with each order.

If you’re ever in a situation where the EDT has passed, please wait a bit longer. If 15 business days have passed, please get in touch with us via email or the form below, and we’ll take a look.

Since we’re completely new to being online-shop entrepreneurs, we wanted to start out slowly with a controlled shipping radius. Tackling VAT and other country-specific taxes gave us panic attacks.

International shipping should be coming soon!

Affiliate Partnerships

When you click a link and buy a product we recommend (from another site), we might make a referral commission. It doesn’t cost you anything and your prices are always the same. Merchants give referral (or “affiliate”) commissions all the time, although as consumers, we don't often notice. Most importantly, however, it will never affect what we recommend in our articles or on the site.

We are an affiliate participant for the following companies:

  • Amazon Services LLC Associates
  • Grass City, part of High Tide Inc. Company

These are affiliate advertising programs which provide a means for us to earn commissions when linking to the products we like the most from our partners.

Never! The price for you will not be higher because you clicked on one of our product recommendations. The seller offers a small commission (usually 2-8% of sale) if you purchase that item.

Of course, most of the brands and products we adore don’t offer affiliate programs, so those links with have no commission associated.

Our purpose is to provide trusted recommendations or solutions for every mom / woman / ADHD brain out there. We will pick the non-commission product over the affiliate everytime if it’s the best one. You have our promise.

Graphic Tees & Sweatshirts

We use Kornit Water-based and NeoPigment inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.

Our standard process is the Direct to Garment (DTG) method of printing which means we can create photo-quality prints.

We use Kornit printers for all our printed garments.

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don’t worry, that’s not unusual – it’s from a fixation agent applied during the printing process, and it’s not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.

Don’t worry, both will disappear after the first wash.

It was important for us to pick a shirt that was soft and comfortable, but also flattering. So, we started to research various bulk brands and determined we liked the feel, wear, and ethics of Bella + Canvas.

Bella + Canvas

Bella + Canvas believes quality garments are built at the thread level. They comb-out 2.5x more impurities than standard ring-spun cotton and exclusively use a proprietary Airlume Combed and Ring-Spun Cotton to create the softest garments on the market, and the perfect canvas for all of SAHD’s expressions and designs.

Eco Awareness

Bella + Canvas uses 7x less water than average clothing manufacturers, and their U.S. manufacturing facilities produce almost no landfill because they recycle pretty much everything that can’t be turned into a tee.

Social Responsibility

100% SWEATSHOP FREE and Platinum WRAP Certified. American made is something we believe in deeply and Bella + Canvas has been manufacturing in the U.S. in a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way since day one.

What Principles Does the WRAP Certification Include?

  • Human resources management
  • Health and safety standards
  • Environmental and eco-friendly practices
  • Legal compliance including import/export, customs compliance and security standards

We recommend washing our shirts in cold water and drying on a low heat cycle or hung up to dry to prevent any extra shrinkage. Although we have not yet experienced any issues with sizing after regular washing, non-standard water/dryer temperatures could affect sizing afterward.

Jewelry & Accessories

Well, this sparkling gem has quite an interesting cosmic origin story. Back in 1893, a French scientist named Henri Moissan stumbled upon it, and no, he wasn’t in a Hollywood movie; he was in Arizona. Moissan was checking out a meteorite crater, probably expecting to find some space bling, and instead, he uncovered tiny gem-like particles. Initially, he thought he’d hit the diamond jackpot, but it turned out these crystals were silicon carbide.

Now, here’s the cool part: Moissanite is super rare in its natural form, so most of what we see today is created in a lab with minimal environmental impact. Scientists put their brains to work, figured out how to cook up Moissanite, and voila, we have one of the shiniest gemstones on the planet!

But here’s the catch: Moissanite isn’t a doppelganger for diamonds, even though it tries its best. These two gems have different compositions and appearances: like distant cousins rather than twins. But Moissanite is also far less expensive per carat than many other gemstones, let alone diamonds. If you’re looking for a statement piece within a budget, Moissanite jewelry might be a great fit!

This means that the jeweler uses a base metal like sterling silver, stainless steel, brass, or copper. They then bond a thin layer of gold to the base metal. The higher the carat value, the higher percentage of pure gold, e.g., 18k = 75% pure; comparatively more durable than 24k, but less pure. 14k (58% purity) is the most common gold-plating for costume or daily-wear jewelry.

The gold layer is usually less than 1/20th of the total weight of the piece. Essentially, this is an excellent alternative to gold while still presenting the look of gold, and is often a better choice for a mom who requires a bit of sturdiness to her jewelry.

Opals are undeniably captivating with their multi-hued sparkle, and they’re a rare gemstone that never fails to impress. While black opals reign as the most valuable, our store primarily features jewelry adorned with white opals, which are both more common and budget-friendly.

The fascinating variety of natural opals depends on two key characteristics: body tone and transparency. Body tone encompasses a spectrum of base tones, from colorless (akin to brilliant white) to various shades of gray, and even deep black in the case of black opals. These form the canvas for opal’s magical color play. On the transparency front, opals are divided into three categories: opaque, translucent, and transparent. Some opals conceal their inner beauty behind an opaque veil, while others offer a subtle glimpse through a translucent surface. The transparent opals, though, steal the show, allowing you to peer directly into their kaleidoscopic world. Whether it’s the mystique of black opals or the enchanting allure of white opals, there’s an opal to enchant every admirer in our collection. Opals aren’t just gemstones; they’re miniature worlds of color and light waiting to adorn your life with their unique charm.
